The Briars Bed & Breakfast Guest House
The Briars is a comfortable, Bed and Breakfast (B&B) Guest House, ideally located close to the centre of Caldbeck village itself, with views towards St Kentigern's Church, Cald Beck and the Northern Fells in the distance. Our beautiful gardens front and back, are well known for their floral displays in Spring & Summer.
We have three guest bedrooms available on a bed and breakfast basis, 1 double en-suite room, 1 twin and 1 single room - with shared bathroom. Every room has colour TV and Tea & Coffee making facilities. We serve a full, hearty traditional Cumbrian Breakfast in the mornings to set you up for a day exploring the Northern Fells area by foot, cycle or car. We are situated on the Cumbria Way footpath.
Evening meals are available locally at the Oddfellow's Arms in Caldbeck, only 2 minutes walk away from the Briar's, with the Watermill Cafe at Priest's Mill, for light lunches and refreshments during the day.
We have secure storage available for cycles for those travelling on the Cumbria Way and Reivers Cycle Route.

Leave the village square at the Oddfellows Arms keeping to the right of the pub. Trun right and follow road over the bridge. Friar Row is 100 yards on the right, opposite the Natinal Park car park. The Briars is on the left, just after the doctors surgery.
