Brownrigg Farm is a former fell farm dating back to the 17th century, with stunning views over the valley towards the Northern Fells of the Lake District.

We are situated in a quiet, elevated position above Caldbeck village with magnificant views towards the Northern Fells including High Pike and Carrock Fell, as well as the Eden Valley and Pennines in the distance. Our gardens are lovely and a peaceful haven for birds and other local wildlife and offer a wonderful location away from it all.

We have one comfortable and spacious double guest room with private bathroom offered on a bed and breakfast (B&B) basis (twin available on request).

Full Cumbrian breakfast is served in our cosy breakfast room, complete with living flame gas stove and views over our gardens.

Locally there are walks across the nearby Northern Fells and to the attractive villages of Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket. The Cumbria Way also passes nearby. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and walking for all ages and abilities.

We're also ideal for Cyclists as we're situated close from the C2C cycle route and can offer stabling for horse riders. There is a tennis court nearby and swimming pools within 20 mins by car.

We have ample parking and secure storage for cycles, if required.

There are some excellent places to eat locally in Caldbeck, Hesket Newmarket and Uldale.

Please note, we are a NO SMOKING establishment and we are unable to accept pets.
