SATURDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2012 - Show Field open from 8:30am.
Held at Throstle Hall between Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket.

A traditional agricultural show event held every year in September. It aims to celebrate the finest of agricultural traditions with top class livestock, horse and dog sections and it boasts one of the finest exhibitions of animals anywhere in the North of England.

It takes a whole year to prepare, organise and arrange the Hesket Newmarket Show. As soon as one show is over the preparations begin for the next.

This is truly a show for everyone with many other events and attractions taking place throughout the day around the show ground including:

M6 exit 41, take B5305 to Wigton. 7 miles then left for Hesket Newmarket.
Follow through Millhouse and onto Hesket Newmarket.
Turn right at village green and follow for Caldbeck.
Throstle Hall is 1 mile on the right.
