High Greenrigg House Holiday Cottages

Nestling in the foothills of the Caldbeck Fells amidst totally unspoilt scenery lie three beautifully crafted cottages converted from a former Hill Farm. Welcome to High Greenrigg House - a carefully restored, Grade II Listed, 17th century farmhouse.

Overlooking High Pike and Brae Fell, the property is set in a totally detached countryside location, elevated amongst the North Lakeland Fells. Within the Lake District National Park and surrounded only by agricultural and fell land, it is about 3 miles from Caldbeck village.

The views, peace and tranquillity make this a very special place to stay.

There are three self-catering cottages which were part of the former farmhouse and steading.  A wealth of old beams and features of the original building provide character. Both cottages have recently been fitted with new kitchens.  The modern facilities in each include a dishwasher, freezer, double bowl ceramic sink and co-ordinating tiled work-tops. The cosy properties have a new oil-fired central heating system and 'Living Flame' gas stoves.

Brae Fell Cottage accommodates 6 people and features:

• ground floor double bedded room with large en-suite shower room
• first floor twin bedded room with en-suite shower room
• first floor double bedded room (king size four poster) with en-suite bathroom
• large ground floor lounge/dining room
• colour television, video and hi-fi stereo

High Pike Cottage accommodates 4 people and features:

• ground floor double bedded room with en-suite bathroom (bath and shower)first floor double bedded room (king-size four-poster) with en-suite bathroom (large shower)
• first floor lounge/dining room with good views over the fells
• colour television, video and hi-fi stereo
• Fully fitted modern kitchen

Swallow's Rest Cottage accommodates 2 people.

• Suitable for couples and romantic breaks
• King size double bedroom with oak built in furniture on first floor
• TV, DVD and Hi-Fi - second colour TV and video in bedroom
• Luxury fully fitted kitchen
