The Old Rectory Bed and Breakfast which was built in 1785, is in the centre of the Caldbeck village, next to the church and on the Cumbria Way.
We are situated two minutes walk from the Oddfellows Arms which serves evening meals until 8.30 pm. The Old Crown at Hesket Newmarket is one mile away by road and 40 minutes attractive walk by the river Caldbeck. Kirkland Stores (the village shop) is just 30 seconds walk from end of the drive.
The B&B accommodation comprises one twin room and one double room, both with attractive views, televisions, armchairs, coffee and tea making facilities and hair dryers. There is a shared bathroom with bath and shower and a separate w.c.
Breakfast is served in the cosy Aga warmed kitchen. Packed lunches may be provided if ordered in advance: £6.00 per person.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden.
Secure storage can be provided for cycles and there is ample parking.
Guests are welcome from 3.30 pm and are asked to vacate their rooms by 10am on the day of departure.
Prices: £32.00 Per Person Per Night - with a deposit of £20.00 payable on booking, balance due on arrival. Please note: payment is by cheque/BACS or cash only.
