The Woodwork Shop

The Woodwork Shop is a small family run business which started in 2007 by Martyn Barnes. We offer a wide range of woodwork services and sales, as well as repairs and bespoke traditional and contemporary furniture building as follows:-

• Handmade Wood Rocking Horses - we're a member of the Guild of Rocking Horse Makers;
• Traditional & Contemporary Oak and Pine Furniture - hand finished to your requirements
• Dining room furniture, bedroom furniture, kitchen furniture, occasional furniture;
• Ocasional tables, beds, sideboards, cabinets, coffee tables, etc;
• Bespoke furniture design - build to your specification. Tell us what you want and we'll build it for you;
• Wooden Crafts and Gifts;
• Traditional wooden toys for children including jigsaws, puzzles, dolls house;
• Picture Framing - have your favourite picture mounted and framed by us;
• Wood Turning - hand carved wood items such a vases, bowls, lights, candlesticks,

We have our own fully equipped workshop onsite so you can even watch us working if you time it right.
