Denton House is located in the centre of Hesket Newmarket village, just a couple of doors down from the Old Crown pub and close to the village car park.
Denton House is a very friendly bed and breakfast B&B guest house sat in the centre of Hesket Newmarket, overlooking the village green. Dating back to the 17th century, this splendid house has 7 guest rooms which can be let as double, single, twin or family rooms on a bed & breakfast (B&B) basis.
All of our guest rooms are spacious and most have views of the village and up to the Caldbeck Fells or over surrounding countryside. Relax in our cosy guest lounge with comfy sofas, TV and roaring wood burning stove. Full English Breakfast is served between 8am & 9am in our large breakfast room, again with roaring open fire.
Hesket Newmarket is located in one of the quieter parts of the Lake District, yet we are only a short drive to Keswick, Penrith and Bassenthwaite Lake. We are a perfect stop-over point when traveling to Scotland from the South of England.
We are also located close to the Rievers Cycle Route, Coast to Coast C2C and the Cumbrian Way runs close by too. The Caldbeck Fells are on your doorstep with High Pike and Carrock Fell overlooking the village.
We are only 20 yards down from the famous CAMRA award winning Old Crown pub - famous for its excellent food and superb real ales from the nearby Hesket Newmarket Brewery. A traditional Lake District pub with a very warm welcome waiting for you.
