The Oddfellows Arms in Caldbeck is a traditional Lakeland Inn with comfortable bed & breakfast accommodation, local real ales and good home cooked food.

The "Oddfellows" is a proper Lakeland inn. Now run by James & Emma Whitesmith, a warm welcome awaits.

Relax with a well earned pint after a day on the fells or tuck into one of our tasty home made bar meals. The pub is warm and cosy in winter with real fires.

In summer, relax outside in the sun in the front or rear beer gardens. Patio heaters available.

ACCOMMODATION: 

We have 10 ensuite B&B guest rooms available as follows:-

• 3 x family rooms
  (2 x double with 2 singles & 1 x double with 1 single)
  These can also be let as twin rooms
• 5 x double rooms
• 2 x twin rooms

All have en-suite bath or shower rooms and are equipped with colour television, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers.

A hearty Cumbrian breakfast is served in our restaurant each morning.

B&B from £80 per room per night.

OPENING TIMES:

• Bar - ALL DAY, EVERY DAY
  From 11am to Midnight - 1am at weekends
• Food - Monday & Tuesday
  12 Noon - 2:30pm and 5:30pm - 9pm
• Food - Wednesday to Saturday- 12 Noon - 9pm
• Food - Sunday all day - 12 Noon - 8pm

 

FOOD: 

Traditional home cooked food is served at the times shown below. No microwaves, no convenience food. Just fresh local produce wherever possible.

We will grow our food offering with simple rules, seasonal, locally sourced where quality allows, and cooked fresh. Using our years of experience, it’s all about cooking real food properly!

Wood fired pizzas also available.

We can cater for special events and parties in our large restaurant - up to 86 people. And 66 in the bar. Why not book us for a special occasion?

We have a 5 star hygiene rating - doesn't get any better!!

DRINK: 

We are a Marstons inn with a range of well kept real ales - Jennings Bitter, Cumberland Ale and Wainwright are our regular ales.

We also will have guest ales on tap most evenings. A range of keg beers, lagers and cider.

Quality wines, together with a fantastic range of gins and single malt whiskys, as well as soft drinks are available.

There are two separate bar areas:

• The cosy lower area is where many restaurant guests have a pre-dinner drink before enjoying their meal in our restaurant.
• The other lounge area has a dart board and a pool table area for those who like a bit of competition.

You can take bar snacks in any of these areas, and during the winter months you may well see the local pool, darts and domino teams in action.

The Oddfellows is popular with locals and tourists alike and a very warm Cumbrian welcome awaits all who call in.
